This high-energy song by American R&B recording artist Usher originally featured as a bonus track on his sixth studio album, Raymond v. Raymond. It was first released on March 16, 2010 through the US iTunes store as the third promotional single in countdown to the album's release and debuted at #76 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the chart for week ending April 13, 2010. "More" was later remixed by RedOne for its release as the album's second international single on December 12, 2010.
The song was written by Usher, Charles Hinshaw Jr. and RedOne, with the latter also producing the song. Grammy-winning producer RedOne is best known for his collaborations with Lady Gaga and he previously collaborated with Hinshaw on the 2009 Backstreet Boys track, "All Of Your Life (You Need Love)."
Usher performed the song at the NBA All-Star Game Halftime Show on Valentine's Day 2010 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. His performance was in front of the largest crowd ever to attend a basketball game.
