Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Skinny Genes. By Songfacts®.

This is the first single from London-based pop/folk singer-songwriter Eliza Doolittle. She is the daughter of stage director John Caird and musical theatre actress Frances Ruffelle.

Doolittle told BBC Radio's Steve Lamacq about this song: "The single is something I made up in my head. I just thought it would be quite a funny scenario if you didn't like someone, if they were really annoying, but you had a good time under the sheets."

The song samples Andy Williams' 1957 chart-topping hit "Butterfly."
