Frontman Jason Wade penned this song for Allstate's Teen Driving Program, which educates teens to drive safely. It was made available through the US iTunes store on November 6, 2007, but wasn't included on an album until Smokes and Mirrors in 2010.
Wade dedicated the song to teens that have lost their lives in accidents and in particular to a friend of his that died in a car accident at the age of 16.
Along with "Broken," Jason Wade cites this as the most personally therapeutic songs he's written.
