This was co-written by OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who also co-wrote and produced "Do It Well" for Jennifer Lopez and Leona Lewis' UK chart topper "Bleeding Love."
Reggae rapper Sean Kingston performs on this song. Natasha Bedingfield told MTV News about her collaboration with Kingston: "Well, he's a labelmate of mine and his stuff, I just really like it and I thought he's got a nice, positive vibe, so it would be good with him on there. And he's done his thing and it's really added something."
Natasha Bedingfield told msn.com about the song and how she hooked up with Sean Kingston: "I was working in the studio with [producer] J.R. [Rotem] and he's very much involved in the Sean Kingston thing. He showed me some of Sean's stuff and I thought it would be really cool to get him on that track. I felt like I needed a light-hearted song that was a love story [on the album]. I just think it's quite sweet. It's like a relationship that never got followed through, never got consummated. It's a nice idea and we all have those people in our lives; we look back and we kind of realize they've always been there and we remember to be grateful for them."
