Chris Brown

He's from Tappahannock, a little town in Virginia where he grew up singing in church. He thought about being a rapper until his mom told him how good his singing was.

Brown was just 15 when he signed a record deal with Jive in 2005. He's one of the last major stars discovered before the age of YouTube and social media - he had to venture into New York City to showcase his talents.

His hobbies and interests include basketball, martial arts, tattoos and comic books.
