Technical Death Metal is a subgenre of death metal that focuses on complex song structures, intricate rhythms, and technical proficiency. It is characterized by fast tempos, complex guitar riffs, and often incorporates elements of progressive metal and jazz. Vocals are usually guttural and growled, and lyrics often focus on topics such as death, violence, and the occult.
