The video is a take off of 1970s hospital soap operas. It was directed by Jesse Peretz, who was also responsible for other Foo Fighters promos such as "Big Me" and "Learn To Fly." Rashida Jones of The Office stars in the clip as Susan Belfontaine; her father is the legendary producer Quincy Jones.
This reached #1 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart succeeding Seether's "Fake It."
