This was released as the lead single from A New Tide. Frontman Ian Ball told The Associated Press: "It's a strange song. It has no chorus, but somehow it works... All the best singles are ones you wouldn't necessarily think of."
A New Tide was co-produced by the band and Brian Deck (Iron & Wine, Modest Mouse). Among the guest musicians on the set are Amy Milan of Stars and Broken Social Scene and multi-instrumentalist Stuart Bogie of Brooklyn's Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra who also featured on The Yeah Yeah Yeah's 2009 single "Zero."
