This song serves as the theme tune to Hilary Duff's comedy drama series Younger, which debuted on US cable network TV Land on March 31, 2015. Duff co-stars as Kelsey Peters in the show, alongside Sutton Foster, Debi Mazar and Nico Tortorella.
The song was written and produced by by Bloodshy of Miike Snow, who has co-helmed with his production partner Avant, several of Britney Spears' hits (including "Toxic" and "Piece Of Me"). Swedish singer-songwriter Tove-Lo, best known for her hit single "Habits (Stay High)," also contributed to the writing of the track.
The video was directed by Hannah Lux Davis, who was the girl behind the lens for Jessie J's "Bang Bang," Ariana Grande's "Love Me Harder," and Nick Minaj's "Only" clips.
