Chris Brown makes a guest appearance on this song. Zendaya wasn't fussed about which track Breezy appeared on, she just really wanted to sing with him. "I was with my parents and I was like, 'Hey bro, just want you to play my music. Whichever one you like'," she said at Essence's Black Women in Music pre-Grammy Event. "It happened to be the one I wanted him on, so bam!"
The song samples the horn hook from TLC's 1994 hit tune "Creep" who in turn borrowed from Slick Rick's 1988 song "Hey Young World."
Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds co-produced the song. He worked with TLC during the trio's heyday but not on "Creep."
