This was released as the third single from Florida Georgia Line's debut album Here's To The Good Times. The song was penned by Rodney Clawson, Thomas Rhett and Chris Tompkins.

Clawson grew up in a Texan small town and this song talks about what people like him did to have a good time in a place where there's nothing to do. "You steal a six-pack of beer out of somebody's parents' fridge in the garage and head out on a dirt road," he told Roughstock, "sit out there on the tailgate, listen to music and drink beer. There will be girls and guys, and everybody's out there to have a good time. That's about all there is to do [laughs]. I grew up in a farmtown in Texas where there's 1,200 people. It was 35 miles to the closest Walmart. We had a Dairy Queen and a Quik Stop. Other than that, there was nothing to do. "A lot of these songs that we write - 'Round Here' being the perfect example - are about how you have to make up your own good time," Clawson continued. "We have some cool lines in that song like 'candles on the toolbox of the truck' and stuff like that. It's all little things from out of our past. It's funny because Chris grew up in a little town in north Alabama that's 1,500 miles from where I grew up, but a lot of the same stuff went on."

The music video was directed by Peter Zavadil and filmed in the duo's hometowns of Monroe, Georgia and Ormond Beach, Florida. We did a whole day in Georgia and a whole day in Florida," Tyler Hubbard said. "It's kinda like a big homecoming. All our friends and family came out and people that we didn't even know we were friends with were there as well. It was really a cool day. A lot of support." "It just felt good to go home," he added. "We go home about once a year so to be able to go back home and shoot a music video and kinda let our friends and family into our world and what we do, [was] a really cool experience. Probably one of our favorite times shooting a music video for sure."
