Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Back to the Streets (feat. Jhené Aiko). By Songfacts®.

Having traded in her lowly boyfriend for her new man, Quavo, Saweetie is sending the ex back to the streets where he belongs. On the first verse, the Bay Area rapper recounts her past mistakes. My ex used to act like he owned me Ain't enough just to treat me like a trophy I had that, passed that, knew I had to trash that Saweetie boasts in the chorus about how her rich new beau can provide her the finer things in life. However, she's learned her lesson and has put her "new man on a leash."

Jhené Aiko croons the second verse of the sing-songy cut. She too has sent her ex back to the hood after upgrading to a new man with deeper pockets.

This is the second time Saweetie has worked with Aiko, following the "My Type" remix with City Girls.
