Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about The Sights. By Songfacts®.

In 2015, Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds broke up with his girlfriend of seven years. This song is about the onslaught of emotions that hit him as he made a new start. He explained to Kerrang: "This is just the various fears and excitement of having a new chapter in your life open up. There's lots of references to my previous relationship on this album, and this one covers, not the freedom - because people will just think that that means sexual freedom, which isn't really what I was going for (laughs) - but being back in control again of your own destiny and being able to rediscover yourself and all those clichés (laughs). And then the excitement of knowing that, at some point, maybe I will find someone else who will make me happy and I'll make them happy. It's about new starts."
