Usher wrote the song with the brothers Theron and Timothy Thomas, who are also known as R City. The duo's previous collaborations with Usher include his singles "I Don't Mind" and "No Limit." They have also worked with the likes of Miley Cyrus ("We Can't Stop") and Iyaz ("Replay") as well as having their own hit song, "Locked Away."
