Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Soul to Squeeze. By Songfacts®.

Lead singer Anthony Kiedis wrote this about his personal struggles with addiction, something that he has battled from a very early age.

This was used in the 1993 movie Coneheads, a comedy based on a Saturday Night Live skit about a family with conical heads. It was a very heavy song for a very light movie, and for a while the soundtrack was the only album containing the song.

The music video was directed by Kevin Kerslake, who had previously helmed many of Nirvana's videos. Chris Farley, who was a cast member on Saturday Night Live at the time, appears in the clip.
