Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Vete. By Songfacts®.

The Spanish word "vete" means "go away from here." This song finds Bad Bunny addressing a girl he's split up with. The beginning of the chorus, translated into English, reads: Go away, huh-huh-huh No one is holding you and the door is open, huh Don't worry about of us, our story is already dead The Puerto Rican singer-rapper makes it clear to his former lover he wants absolutely nothing to do with her henceforward.

The intro interpolates reggaeton singer Noriega's 2004 hit "Si Te Vas."

The song was produced by Bad Bunny's previous collaborator Subelo NEO, who is also known for working with Lunay ("A Solas") and Eladio Carrión ("Mi Cubana" remix).
