This collaboration between Sigala and Rita Ora finds the British songstress singing of a relationship that slipped away. She still thinks about her former beau all the time and regrets not telling him that "I wanted you for me."
British singer-songwriter Charli XCX wrote the original demo for "You For Me." Charli knows Rita Ora really well and when Sigala expressed interest in recording the song, she recommended her close pal to sing it. Sigala wanted to work with Ora for a long time, so he jumped at the chance.
This is the first collaboration between Sigala and Rita Ora, but she has worked with Charli XCX before, featuring on: 1. An alternative version of XCX's 2014 single "Doing It" 2. A remix of XCX's "After the Afterparty" the following year. 3. Teaming up along with Cardi B and Bebe Rexha on the 2017 bi-curious anthem "Girls."
