The second single from Yellowcard's eighth album finds lead singer Ryan Key addressing the "kid I was before" as he croons: "They say you don't grow up, you just grow old. It's safe to say I haven't done both. I made mistakes I know, I know. But here I am alive." Key co-wrote the song with Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump.
The song features backing vocals from Tay Jardine, who is the lead vocalist of the New York Pop-Rock band We Are the In Crowd.
Stump was initially featured on this but clearance issues with his label, Island Records, forced the band to remove his parts from the track.
