Cry Tough

This song is about the band feeling larger than life after finding out that they were booked at The Palace, which is a major concert venue in Michigan. The lyrics were written as a creed to the band to keep on believing and never giving up in the bleak times of their early days. The video was shot over two nights at The Palace.

"Cry Tough" was Poison's first single. It flopped, but was followed by a wave of success, as the next singles "Talk Dirty To Me," "I Want Action" and "I Won't Forget You" established the band as hair metal powers.
