Matt Walst, who replaced Three Days Grace's original lead singer, Adam Gontier, on the album, explains this song is about insatiable greed. "You take one, and it's just not enough. In life, people get greedy and they keep wanting more and more. There's no end to it. The skyscrapers are still going up. People want more money. They just want more. There's never an end to the greed."
