Stormz- real name Michael Omari – began MCing at the age of 11 and even at that young age, he would go to his local youth club to engage in rap battles with older MCs. He gained attention after acquiring a large YouTube following for his freestyle raps over classic grime beats. On October 22, 2014, Stormzy won Best Grime Act at the MOBO awards. Later that month he became the first unsigned rapper to appear on Later with Jools Holland performing the song "Not That Deep" from his Dreamers Disease EP.
