Zhu is an electronic singer-producer who has released several tracks whilst remaining anonymous, believing that his music should speak for itself. His songs include an Outkast mash-up "Moves Like Ms Jackson," which earned him a series of positive reviews. Several journalists and bloggers have suggested his identity as Steven Zhu, a Los Angeles remix artist signed to No Ego Records.
The Faded EP includes remixes from The Magician, Odesza, AMTRAC, Lido, and TACHES. It became Zhu's first chart hit in the UK.
