"Every Chance I Get" is the third collaboration between DJ Khaled and Lil Baby, following the 2019 Father of Asahd tracks "You Stay" and "Weather The Storm." Though Lil Durk had never hooked up with Khaled before, he and Baby frequently work together.
According to Khaled, Durk sent his vocals back the same day the producer sent him the track.
