This song originated with its guitar riff. Frontman Leigh Kakaty saw the potential for writing an anthemic type of song with lyrics that could positively motivate their fans to "be legendary."
The song's Columbia Tatone-directed video features child versions of the Pop Evil band members teaming up to defeat a group of bullies in an arcade game. The Michigan rockers previously collaborated with Tatone on their visuals for "A Crime To Remember," "Colors Bleed" and "Waking Lions." "This story is for the underdogs. It's about friendship and togetherness," said Tatone. "A reminder that although life doesn't always 'play fair,' know that our trials are a gift as you build sustaining character, discovering what you're indeed made of and made for as you earn the victory on the climb back up."
