Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about INFERNO. By Songfacts®.

This dark pop song is a collaboration between Bella Poarch and American producer Sub Urban. The pair also teamed up for Poarch's breakthrough single "Build A Bitch."

The song finds Poarch using a hell motif to describe her devilish character. Despite this (or maybe because of it), Sub Urban finds her attractive. He acknowledges the Filipino-American femme fatale is dangerous and admits there is "something telling me to run away."

Andrew Donoho (The Strokes, Khalid, Run The Jewels) directed the twisted video, which takes place in a glamorous hotel. After being drugged by two men and pulled into an elevator, Poarch suddenly develops superpowers and turns into a hellish ice queen. She tortures her sleazy attackers with the help of Sub Urban's bartender character, turning the elevator shaft into an "inferno."
