Natasha Bedingfield said in an interview in the 2005 BRITS magazine about this song, "I had this feeling when we were in the studio that it would do well. It was funny, because it was one of those real writer's block situations and the song just wasn't coming. Then I was just being stupid and sang 'I love you, I love you, I love you!' I was just at my wit's end and just wanted to say what I meant in a simple way, without using all those flowery words, and it was that moment that we were like, 'Yeah, that's a hit!"
Andrew Frampton, who in 2001 co-wrote S Club 7's UK chart topper "Have You Ever" wrote this with Bedingfield.
When this song hit #1 in the UK, Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield became the first brother and sister ever to have separate solo UK #1 hits. Daniel had already hit the top spot three times, first with "Gotta Get Thru This" in 1999.
