This is the second single from Welsh alternative rock band Lostprophets' fourth studio album, The Betrayed.
It was no surprise that this was chosen for a single release as its one of the catchiest numbers that the band have ever recorded. However, vocalist Ian Watkins warned in the January 2, 2010 edition of Kerrang! that we shouldn't be fooled by its cheery melody. He said: "Where We Belong might sound really happy and catchy, but if you really listen to the lyrics I could be saying that we belong in hell. I've always loved evil pop - that Faith No More thing of coating subversive ideas with beautiful melodies - and I think people often miss the message in our songs. Some people might write us off as a happy pop band but if I explained certain lyrics they'd be like, 'F---ing Hell!'.. You don't have to be Tool to be challenging. It's easy to be indulgent but much harder to write a direct song that connects with people."
The video is made up of various clips of the band performing at the Newport Centre in August 2009.
