Rowan Jones is a deep house music producer and DJ from Richmond, London., who records under the name of Route 94. This is his debut single, which BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra began playing in September 2013.
This features vocals by Jones' fellow Londoner Jess Glynne, who earlier in 2014 had achieved her commercial breakthrough with the chart-topping Clean Bandit single "Rather Be." Its success helped "My Love" gain exposure, and after its release on March 2, 2014 the song immediately topped the UK iTunes chart.
Director Ryan Staake and DP Adam Donald shot the music video with a highly specialized FLIR SC8300 thermal camera.
