Bassist and lyricist Pete Wentz originally wrote this as a companion piece to the album's lead single, "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)."
G.O.O.D. Music MC Big Sean pops in halfway through with a demi-entendre-filled lovelorn rap verse. Wentz explained to Kerrang! "Lyrically and temp-wise, it made the most sense to bring him in on this song. With this record, we wanted to have a balance, so having Courtney, Elton and Foxes, I felt like there needed to be another voice represented, and Sean fitted the bill."
The music video is the fifth part of Fall Out Boy's musical movie The Young Blood Chronicles, where the band is kidnapped by a mysterious cult that wants to eliminate music. In this clip, they manage to escape the burning van their captors have trapped them in, only to be beset upon by a gang of violent children. Big Sean also appears in the video as the band's ally The Herald.
