UK singer-songwriter Charli XCX and American teenage rapper Bhad Bhabie join Clean Bandit for this track about the highs and lows of falling for a "bad, bad dude." Charli XCX sings the opening verse about her relationship with an "undercover lover" whom she's come to realize is just a game playing playboy. Bhad Bhabie spits some bars on the second scorching verse before Charli returns for the bridge in which she recognizes her regret about getting involved with the bad boy.
Clean Bandit originally wrote the song with Charli XCX in Los Angeles, with the latter contributing all of the lyrics. It was Charli who recommended getting Bhad Bhabie in to rap a verse and she recruited the American teen through Twitter.
