Chris Brown's first single from his fifth album Fortune is a dance-pop banger, in which he urges on a night of drinking and loud music. "Turn up the music, can I hear it 'til the speakers blow/ Turn up the music, fill your cup and drink it down," he sings. The song was made available at digital music stores on February 14, 2012.
The song was produced and written by The Underdogs, who are a R&B production duo composed of Harvey Mason, Jr. and Damon Thomas. The pair have worked with Brown on a number of his previous tracks including the singer's duet with Jordin Sparks, "No Air, his 2007 single "Take You Down and the F.A.M.E. track, "Up 2 You."
Brown references LMFAO's second Hot 100 #1 single when he repeatedly chants, "If you're sexy and you know it, put your hands up in the air!"
