This song finds the Texan quartet poking fun at some of the stories the American news media reports - stuff like Rock being dead and cell phones being dangerous. "'Nice to Meet You' was a song we wrote about honest feelings about how the media is so filled with negativity nowadays," explained frontman Jonathan Cook to Billboard magazine. "We live in the greatest country in the world and these lyrics are about how our country's stereotypes are perceived by outsiders looking in."
