This track finds Father John Misty singing about communicating through technology rather than face-to-face, and how isolated the process made him feel. The song is the most synth-based one the former Fleet Foxes drummer has recorded to date. He told Grantland: "I wrote it on tour while trying to woo someone with text message and email and trying to make a connection that way and the frustration of that. So that song had to be synthetic and inorganic."
