This slow track was inspired by the 1960s American animated sitcom The Jetsons, which is set in the year 2062 in a futuristic utopia. Bassist and lyricist Pete Wentz explained to Kerrang: "The song was this idea that you can't ever get enough – you always ask the genie for more wishes! You have this perfect future life, but you still get the blues."
Wentz told HMV.com: "Where it goes 'She's in a long black coat tonight and waiting for me in the downpour outside,' that's actually a reference to (Sci-fi monster movie) Pacific Rim. It's just what I picture."
The version on the remix album Make America Psycho Again features rapper Big K.R.I.T. The hip-hop album didn't fare as well on the charts as the original, which debuted at #1. It only reached #107.
