This dreamy echo-laden lullaby is the first single from English Indie Pop group, The xx's, second album, Coexist. We hear singer Romy Madley Croft whispering, "Being as in love with you as I am." She told NME that the album title references, "lost love - from exes or the person you're with now". Croft added: "A lot of it is still personal, but I've been a bit more inspired by things that have happened to other people and putting myself in their shoes. But they're all love songs and some of them are sadder than others."
The group released the heart-melting single on July 16, 2012, through their Facebook page.
Smith told Spin magazine: "It took a while to work out how to arrange it for the band. The demo was quite perfect, but it was just Romy. It took the entire length of the recording process to get it right."
Regarding the song's meaning, Madley Croft explained to Spin magazine that the song, "is about actually being in love; very positive lyrically. The album goes through a few different stages, and this would be the lightest."
