This single was taken from the re-release of David Guetta's fifth studio album, titled Nothing but the Beat 2.0. It was the ninth single from Nothing but the Beat as a whole.
The song features vocals from American R&B singer-songwriter Ne-Yo and American-Senegalese singer/rapper Akon. Both artists previously collaborated with Guetta on tracks from his One Love album - Ne-Yo on "Choose" and Akon on "Sexy Chick." Guetta also produced Akon's 2010 single "Angel."
The chorus melody heavily incorporates Alice Deejay's 1999 Eurodance hit "Better Off Alone."
