This upbeat rocker was released as the first single from the Black Veil Brides IV album. Frontman Andy Biersack explained the song's meaning to The Pulse of Radio: "The song 'Heart Of Fire' is about how time and circumstance change you and how the goal is always to not let the passion that you have for something that you love burn out because the world around you changes it," he said. "I mean, it's very interesting to look at a group of people that are in a band - I think we all are more passionate today about the band maybe than we've ever been, and that's a really cool thing. The song is really about allowing yourself to keep that passion burning for something that you truly enjoy."
Andy Biersack recalled the filming of the video to Kerrang! "It was summertime in LA and we were on an outdoor set, surrounded by fire. So, the level of sweating and heat, I couldn't even explain... the fire marshal had to come and check on our CC (Christian Coma, drums) every couple of minutes, because it seemed like he was going to die behind the kit. If you look in the video, he's got that massive steel BVB logo on fire only about three feet from his head."
