The song's title is a reference to a lodge and bowling team that Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble belonged to on the '60s cartoon TV show The Flintstones.
In a video interview, lyricist Pete Wentz told the New Musical Express that the lyric "detox, just to retox" is "what everybody goes through, yeah, gotta drink bottle of water so I can go back out tonight."
This is the opening track on Fall Out Boy's fourth studio album, Folie à Deux. Despite his call to "boycott love," Wentz took the plunge and married pop singer Ashlee Simpson during the making of the album. Their union, which lasted until their 2011 divorce, influenced much of the romantic themes on the rest of the album.
