This was released as the lead single from Tom Odell's Wrong Crowd album. "I always feel like an outsider," he told The Sun. "Everywhere I go, I always feel I don't belong there. I think a songwriter needs to look inwards through the frosty glass." "It's like the idea when you are in a train or car and suddenly you can see the sea," Odell continued. "There seems to be this yearning for nature in these songs such as 'Sparrow,' 'Concrete' and 'Magnetised.' There's a line in 'Magnetised' 'I wish I had a little mother nature in me,' which is about the yearning for simplicity again."
