Prior to that she had two hits in the late 1990s under her pseudonym of Arrola, on "La Musica," a #14 hit for Ruff Driverz, and "Dreaming," which reached #10 for the same act. The multi-talented Ellis also wrote "Salsoul Nugget (If I Wanna)," a UK #6 hit for M&S presents Girl Next Door in 2001.
