This is a tropical house re-working of Tracy Chapman's 1988 Top 10 single "Fast Car." It was recorded by London-based electronic dance producer Jonas Blue after he had the idea of recreating one of his mother's favorite songs.
Jonas Blue first came across a young singer, Dakota, during a night out at an East London pub. Impressed by her bluesy voice, he invited to sing vocals on this track.
Jonas Blue's version of "Fast Car" topped the singles chart in Australia and also reached the Top 3 in several European countries.
