Interesting facts and trivia about Crossing A Line. By Songfacts®.

Linkin Park frontman Mike Shinoda found himself facing his demons following the suicide of his bandmate Chester Bennington on July 20, 2017. The vocalist felt he needed to process and talk about things directly from his point of view, so he started writing songs as a coping mechanism. As he accumulated a collection of material, Shinoda realized he was beginning to regain control of his life.
