This party song was released as the second single from Florida Georgia Line's debut album, Here's To The Good Times. It originally featured on the duo's second EP, It'z Just What We Do, which was released on May 15, 2012.
The song extols the virtues of a good down-home party, a similar theme to many of Florida Georgia Line's other fine-time tunes. The duo wrote it with Nashville tunesmiths Rodney Clawson (Luke Bryan's "Drunk On You," Jason Aldean's "Drink On It") and Chris Tompkins (Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats," Chris Young's "Voices").
FGL have been called a country Nickleback due to their simple, good-time lyrical content. Clawson and Tomkins actually co-wrote one of the much-maligned Canadian band's singles when they collaborated with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger on "Lullaby."
