"Jamrock" is another name for Jamaica, where Marley is from. This song deal with crime and poverty in the country, and warns against believing that all of Jamaica is similar to the tourist resorts that create the idyllic image of the country.
This samples the 1984 song "World-A-Music" by Ini Kamoze, which was based on a rhythm created by reggae session musicians Sly and Robbie.
