The first single from Young The Giant's Mind Over Matter album is a harder-edged alternative sound than any of the band's previous material. Frontman Sameer Gadhia told MTV News it's the most aggressive track on the record both lyrically and thematically. "Sonically, we wanted to take a really contemporary spin on maybe an older rock song," he said, "We just wanted to change things up a little bit and do something a little bit different." "That song, in particular, I think is really a symbolic idea of how people use power," guitarist Eric Cannata added. "The album touches on a lot of these different themes about times when you can't block out this pressure that you're feeling inside and the times that you kind of break free from that pressure and are able to do limitless things and express yourself in limitless ways."
