Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Thunderclouds - Lost Frequencies Remix. By Songfacts®.

LSD is a supergroup comprising UK singer/producer Labrinth, Australian singer-songwriter Sia and American DJ Diplo. See what they've done there? "Thunderclouds" is their third release. It was made available on August 9, 2018 through Simon Cowell's label Syco, also Labrinth's home as a solo artist.

Lyrically the song speaks about the thunderclouds that can loom over a relationship when trust issues provoke negative thoughts. You're sayin' those words like you hate me now Our house is burning when you're raisin' Hell Here in the ashes, your soul cries out But don't be afraid of these thunderclouds The singer is reassuring their romantic partner not to be afraid and understands that their paranoid thoughts are a result of being betrayed by past lovers.

The song's whimsical music video, directed by Ernest Desumbila, features the group traveling across stormy skies inside a flying red car piloted by Diplo. As usual the Australian singer doesn't appear in the visual though there's a Sia look-alike marionette. Maddie Ziegler dons the Sia wig and dances on top of the car. The young dancer has starred in numerous music clips for Sia – including the ones for "Chandelier," "Elastic Heart" and "Cheap Thrills." She also went on tour with her from 2016 to 2017.
