50 Cent took a keen interest in Pop Smoke's career during his meteoric rise; at the time of the "Dior" rapper's passing, 50 was encouraging his fellow New York native to change his gangster lifestyle. After Pop's death in a home invasion shooting, the "In Da Club" star took it upon himself to finish the Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon album. Here, Pop Smoke pays tribute to his mentor by interpolating the chorus from 50's 2003 track, "Many Men (Wish Death)," during his hook. 50's song concerns his May 24, 2000 shooting when he was hit nine times. Pop's rhymes are a warning to his haters not to pick a fight as he always carries an automatic weapon which he's ready to fire.
Pop previously interpolated 50's 2005 track "Window Shopper" on his meet the Woo 2 cut "Christopher Walking."
Young Devante supplied the beat, marking his first placement with a major artist. The Ukrainian producer came up with the instrumentation in 2018.
