Twice As Hard

A track from The Black Crowes' debut album, "Twice As Hard" is a good example of the blues-rock sound they would become known for. Written by their brotherly songwriting team of Rich and Chris Robinson, the song is about how hard it is to leave someone for good - it's even harder the second time.

The Black Crowes have been compared with The Rolling Stones because of their sound. Rich Robinson plays his guitar on this and many other songs in open G tuning. Keith Richards of the Stones is known for this tuning as well on songs like "Start Me Up," "Brown Sugar," and "Can't You Hear Me Knocking?"
