Nero are a drum and bass and dubstep duo from London, consisting of producers Dan Stephens and Joe Ray. Nero have remixed the likes of La Roux, Daft Punk and Deadmau5 and won the 2010 Beatport's Best Dubstep Act. Their cut, "Act Like You Know It," also won Beatport's Best Dubstep Track.
This single features the voice of Alana Watson, who frequently provides vocals on Nero's songs.
Having released music since 2008, the song became Nero's first mainstream hit record when it debuted at #15 on the UK singles chart in January 2011. The duo stated in their interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe that they drew their inspiration for "Me and "You" from rock and indie music.
