The singer originally tested the song out by sharing the first verse and chorus on social media. It quickly became a fan favorite and also gained traction on the TikTok app. Noting the enthusiastic response to the song, Wallen officially released it as a single on August 14, 2020.
Wallen wrote the song with Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne. It's his first collaboration with both Nashville hitmakers.
